This award was won within the Technological Innovation Category.
Always driven by continuous improvement and the search for cutting-edge technological systems, GEODIS presented to the Assologistica’s judges a project aimed at simplifying the exchange of data among operators in warehouses, thereby streamlining internal procedures. Realized within its warehouse in Arquà Polesine (Rovigo), the study led to the implementation of software that allows communication amongst the replenishment and packaging teams and supervisors, through wireless messages via iPad.
Pietro Lucio Canova – Business Area Director for Nord East Italy – and Antonella Attinà, Project Team leader - accepted the award on behalf of GEODIS.

Assologistica, in collaboration with the magazine Euromerci and the association Assologistica Cultura&Formazione, has been organizing “The Logistics of the Year” contest for 13 years now. It is the main public acknowledgment in the third party logistics in Italy, and the most important operators on the national and international scene attend the ceremony every year.
